The event was held in connection with the Memorial Day of September 27, organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Experts of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry.    The general director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev, who opened the event with his opening speech, said that, our historical lands have been liberated from the enemy. Alovsat Guliyev noted that, under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, our brave army replaced the sad days of our history with proud days. The scientist spoke about the war path of our sons who wrote a glorious history in the 44-day Patriotic War and noted that everyone is proud of them today.
    At the event, the participant of the Patriotic War, the head of the Civil Defense Headquarters of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, lieutenant colonel Ruslan Mahammadov spoke about the difficult battle path of the mighty Azerbaijan Army.
    Veterans of the Patriotic War, Elvin Yahyayev and Khalil Yusifov, who bravely fought for Fuzuli, Khojavand, Shusha and Lachin, shared their impressions of the war, the great victory won, and the 44-day war with the participants of the event.
