Alovsat Guliyev's book "Kahriz canals of Azerbaijan" has been published in English.

The book "Kahriz canals of Azerbaijan" by the general director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev was translated into English and published.The book was recommended for publication with the consent of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, according to a letter addressed to the President of ANAS Ramiz Mehdiyev by Majid Labbaf, Chief Researcher of the International Center for Kahriz and Ancient Hydraulic Instruments. Publication of the work in English is a contribution to embassies, international organizations, local and foreign scientists.
Corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev has been a member of the UNESCO interstate board on "Ancient hydraulic systems-canals" since 2005. He also has been worked  as a consultant for international delegations in Kazakhstan, in Turkmenistan, and in Uzbekistan. Alovsat Guliyev's monograph "Kahriz canals of Azerbaijan" discusses the canals of our ancient aquatic monuments, their drilling technology, drilling tools, mode of operation, canals in other countries, their current condition, water consumption, geographical coordinates, historical monuments on them.
It should be noted that Alovsat Guliyev's book "Kahriz canals of Azerbaijan" is a work of great scientific importance in the study of Kahriz canals  with a history of 4,000 years in the areas on the Silk Road.
