A regular meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS on November 19.
F. Mustafayev noted that modern youth policy in Azerbaijan began in 1994 on the initiative of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The establishment of the Ministry of Youth and Sports that year was a very significant event. Today, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, continues this policy very successfully and at a high level. It is no coincidence that the restoration of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan was mainly attended by young people who have grown up in the last 18 years. It was further noted at the event that Article 9-1.2 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Youth Policy" According to the members of youth organizations must be terminated from the moment they reach the age of 35. Guided by this decision, the new composition of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS was determined by open elections.Tarlan Yelmarli was elected chairman, Narmin Sharifova deputy chairman and Sabina Tagiyeva scientific secretary from the young employees of the enterprise by open voting.
Then the new chairman of the council Tarlan Yelmarli thanked the participants for the confidence shown to him. At the end, the members made suggestions and recommendations on the future activities of the council.
