The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev. At the meeting, the "Mineral Fertilizers" laboratory presented its final report for 2023. The director of the laboratory - Mammad Mammadov, gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year. The Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS, Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry named after M.N. Nagiyev, complex work on "Effect of combined application of organic-mineral complexes prepared on the basis of local raw materials with mineral fertilizers on agrocenoses based on balance calculations" "Efficient application of mineral fertilizers based on balance and circulation" also included 3 works, he noted. In the report, other employees of the laboratory - Vugar Jafarov and Bahruyya Baghirova, answered questions about the work they did.

   Then, the head of the "Microelements and microfertilizers" laboratory of the Institute - Amina Akhundova, presented the final report for 2023. He gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and noted that, 3 works were included in the topic "Research of microelements in the components of different landscape types of the republic and efficiency of application of micro fertilizers".

   The presented final reports were widely discussed by the council members and questions were answered. At the end, the annual report of both laboratories for 2023 was voted and accepted.
