   On May 20, a scientific-practical conference called "Role of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in environmental protection in Azerbaijan" was held organized by the authorized representation of the State University of Nakhchivan, the Ministry of  Ecology and Natural Resources and the Council of Trade Unions. The conference is dedicated to the birth of a National Leader 101, the establishment of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World" and the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Corresponding member of ANAS, professor A.G. Guliyev delivered a report entitled "Efficient use of land and water resources in the protection of the environment in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" at the conference. The scientist said that, people's life and financial well-being, health are closely related to natural resources. The professor noted that, the important role of environmental education in protecting the environment and natural resources, and therefore the importance of improving the level of environmental culture of the young generation.
