The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev. Later, the Institute's "Mineralogy and Chemistry of Soils" laboratory presented its final report for 2024. The director of the laboratory, Doctor of Philosophy in Agrarian Sciences - Maleyka Ahmadova, gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and he noted that, "Proportion of minerals in Azerbaijani soils, diagnosis of soil condition and the effect of non-traditional minerals on changes in soil properties" 4 works were included in the topic.

   Later, the "Land reclamation" laboratory presented its final report for 2024. The head of the laboratory, Ph.D. in agricultural sciences - Farhad Sadigov, gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year. He noted that, 5 works were included in the topic of "Complex study of man-made disturbed lands, restoration by biorecultivation and agrochemical methods" (Absheron - Gala, Bibiheybat settlement).    Council members discussed the reports extensively and asked questions. The annual report of both laboratories for 2024 was voted and accepted in the end.
