The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev, with an introductory speech. The "Soil-Agrochemical Research and Mass Analyses" laboratory presented its final report for 2024 at the meeting. The head of the laboratory, Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Sciences Mirvari Mammadova, provided brief information about the scientific research work carried out in the laboratory in accordance with the subject plan in the reporting year and he noted that, 4 works were included in the topic "Study of fertility indicators of soils of the southeastern and northeastern parts of the Greater Caucasus and the efficiency of the fertilization system in agrocenoses." In the report, other laboratory employees answered questions about the work they did.

   Then the International Laboratory of Soil Ecology presented its final report for 2024. The head of the laboratory, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology - Zaman Mammadov provided brief information about the scientific research work carried out in the laboratory in accordance with the subject plan in the reporting year. He noted that, 12 works were included in the topic "Scientific foundations of GIS-based research, ecological assessment, mapping and monitoring of Azerbaijan's landscape zone lands at a scale of 1:100,000."

   Then, the head of the Agroecology and Land Assessment Laboratory, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology - Konul Gafarbeyli, provided brief information about the scientific research work carried out in the laboratory on the same subject plan in the reporting year.

   The final reports presented were widely discussed by the council members and were unanimously adopted after being put to a vote.
