Students studying in the "Ecological Engineering" specialty of the Faculty of Engineering of Sumgayit State University (SSU) are undergoing industrial practice at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, corresponding member of ANAS, Prof. Alovsat Guliyev, spoke about the importance of Soil Science and the latest research work conducted at the institute during a meeting with students. He emphasized that, students will learn a lot from valuable scientists here, and said that, this experience will make a significant contribution to enriching their scientific and practical knowledge.

   During the internship, students are provided with all the conditions to connect the theoretical knowledge they have acquired at the University with scientific research.  They learn about the process of soil and water analysis in separate laboratories, the working principles of various devices, and participate in analytical work.

   This internship process will provide a significant boost to students' practical mastery of scientific research elements, development of research skills, and deeper mastery of their specialties. Thus, students of Sumgayit State University will have practical experience in their future professional activities, along with scientific and theoretical knowledge.
