A third-year doctoral student in "Ecology" at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University- Oshakbay Aytu Aydaroglu has successfully completed his scientific internship at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the internship, the doctoral student became closely acquainted with the institute's laboratories operating in various fields. He said that, extensive information was obtained on the scientific research carried out in the field of soil science and agrochemistry, including the study of the physical, chemical and biological properties of soils, agrochemical analyses, determination of macro and microelements, mineralogy and assessment of soil degradation.
The doctoral students, who were familiar with modern equipment and methods in the laboratories, were visually demonstrated the analysis processes. In particular, in the field of soil mineralogy, the influence of clay, carbonates and other mineral components on agrochemical properties, as well as the role of these factors in the sustainable development of agroecosystems, was explained in detail.
During the scientific internship, Oshakbay Aytu Aydaroglu was given the opportunity to deepen both his theoretical and practical knowledge. Professional discussions were held between Oshakbay Aytu Aydaroglu and the leading scientists and specialists of the institute, experience was exchanged, and opportunities for mutual scientific cooperation were created.
On the last day of the internship, Professor Alovsat Guliyev, Director General of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Corresponding Member of ANAS, held a meeting with the Kazakh doctoral student. During the meeting, he presented a certificate to Oshakbay Aytu Aydaroglu and wished him success in his scientific activities.
Professor Alovsat Guliyev said that, such international scientific internship programs will not only develop the knowledge and skills of young researchers, but will also make a significant contribution to strengthening scientific ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, joint research into environmental problems relevant to the region, and the application of modern technologies.
It should be noted that, such scientific experiments are also important in terms of implementing joint projects in the future, developing joint research topics, and sharing innovative solutions.
