The Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education actively participated in the traditional "Gala Fig" Festival held at the "Gala" State Historical-Ethnographic Reserve on September 7, 2025.

   The event was organized by the "Icherisheher" State Historical and Architectural Reserve Department, in partnership with the Agrarian Innovation Center under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the "EkoSfera" Ecological Social Center Public Union.

   The main goal of the festival was to introduce figs, one of Azerbaijan's agricultural products and a specialty of the Absheron region, educate farmers working in the agricultural sector, and promote agricultural innovations.

   The Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry was represented at the festival through the Mobile Agricultural Laboratory. The Institute's specialists interacted with farmers and residents of Baku and Absheron region, answering their questions on soil fertility, fertilization, plant nutrition, and other topics.

   The Mobile Agricultural Laboratory presented within the framework of the festival was met with great interest by the participants, and visitors received detailed information about the laboratory's activities, services provided, and cooperation opportunities.
