On August 22-23, an international scientific conference on "Construction mechanics, hydraulics and water management engineering" was held in Uzbekistan.
   Corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev made a speech at the scientific conference held at Tashkent Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers National Research University.
   Alovsat Guliyev spoke about the fraternal relations of our countries, in accordance with the spirit of these relations, the cooperation of scientific institutions and scientists of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. In his report, the scientist talked about the latest achievements in the fields of hydraulics and water management, machine building in agriculture, hydropower, renewable energy sources, hydrotechnics, the work done in these fields in Azerbaijan, and the experience of our country.

   Correspondent member of ANAS said that he plans to visit Uzbekistan in September-October to establish close scientific relations. He said that, Azerbaijani scientists are ready to establish close relations with Tashkent Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers National Research University, Uzbekistan's ministries and institutions related to these fields.

   The scientist's report in Uzbek language, which joined the conference online at the invitation of the rector of the university, was met with great interest and applause.
