In the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, an event was held on the occasion of November 8 - Victory Day, organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists and the Trade Union Organization. At the event, the souls of our martyrs who died for our lands were remembered with a minute of silence and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.The General Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Alovsat Guliyev, who opened the event with his opening speech, congratulated the participants on the Victory Day and called the victory of our brave army under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. A scientist who noted that the earth is alive and that it is hit, injured and destroyed like a human being,emphasizing that our martyrs and veterans freed the land from the enemy, he brought to the attention of the event participants.Alovsat Guliyev noted that, we soil science scientists, should create our knowledge and experience in order to eliminate the impact on the soil.
   Chief Ensign Korkhmaz Mammadzade, Special Forces Ensign, Veteran Nazim Mammadov, Special Forces Ensign, Veteran Khayyam Farzaliyev, Special Forces Ensign, Veteran Anar Shafiyev, who spoke at the event, spoke about the war path they passed in the Patriotic War.Our veterans drew attention to the fact that, the Azerbaijani army demonstrated its strength and fighting spirit to the whole world.
   At the event, Tarlan Yelmarli, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Experts of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, made a report on "The Meaning and Significance of the Karabakh Victory", Aytaj Dadashova, a scientific worker of the Institute, on "The Victory Road", and Turkan Hasanova, a scientific worker, made a report on "Activities of volunteers during the war".
