February 2 - an event was held on the occasion of Youth Day - organized by the Trade Union Committee and the Council of Young Scientists and Experts at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education. The meeting was opened by the general director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev. The scientist congratulated the young people of the Institute on the occasion of Youth Day and he wished them success in their future activities.

   Alovsat Guliyev noted that, today the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev confirms Great Leader Heydar Aliyev's commitment to youth policy with his decisions. The youth policy of our state plays an important role in the formation of the youth of Azerbaijan as a modern.

   Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Institute's Trade Union Organization Committee, Doctor of agricultural sciences - Mammad Mammadov, congratulated the young people of the Institute and talked about the attention and care shown to them. He wished them new successes in their scientific activities.

   Chairwoman of the Institute's Women's Council -Amina Akhundova said that, young people have a special place in the activity of the Institute.

   Later, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Experts of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry -Tarlan Yelmarli made a speech entitled "Great leader Heydar Aliyev is the founder of youth policy" at the event.

   On the occasion of the Youth Day, the young scientists of the Institute, Ali Gozalzadeh and Gani Gasimova, who were distinguished by their effective scientific social activities during the past year a letter of thanks has been presented.

   Deputy chairman of the territorial party organization at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education – to Farid Mustafayev for the effective activity shown in the implementation of the state youth policy in the region and on the occasion of Azerbaijan Youth Day, the Honorary Order was awarded by the order of the head of the Yasamal District Executive Power.

   At the end of the event, a video dedicated to Youth Day was shown.
