   The International Water Management Exhibition and Conference was held as part of the Baku Water Week, on March 12-14.

   The main goal of Baku Water Week is to attract new technologies, equipment and investments to the country in Azerbaijan as well as the strengthening of drinking water supply and the discussion of cooperation in the direction of rehabilitation and reconstruction of Karabakh.

   Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev and employees of the İnstitute also participated in the International Water Management Exhibition and Conference. Alovsat Guliyev delivered a report on "Solution of water problems in the country due to climate change".

   About 90 companies from 16 countries participated at the Baku Water Week.Among the countries represented by participating companies are Azerbaijan, It includes Germany, United States of America, Austria, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Denmark, Georgia, Israel, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Russian Federation.
