On April 22, the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" jointly organized by the Yasamal district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan the event was held. Chairman of the Yasamal District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party - Bakhtiyar Nabiyev took part in the event. At the beginning of the event, the dear memory of our martyrs who died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence and the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. On December 25, 2023, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on declaring 2024 the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World". "Thus, our country will once again confirm its world leadership by demonstrating the initiative to take important decisions at COP29. The scientist also gave information about future work related to COP29 at the Institute.

   Chairman of the Yasamal District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party - Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, who spoke at the event noted that, National leader Heydar Aliyev carried out serious reforms in the agrarian field, as well as in all fields, both during the former Soviet period and during the period when he led independent Azerbaijan. As a result of the successful agrarian policy established by national leader Heydar Aliyev and currently being continued, agriculture has a special place in the country's economy.On December 25, 2023, Mr. Ilham Aliyev announced the 2024 "Green as stated in the decree on declaring the year of solidarity for the sake of the world, the Republic of Azerbaijan contributes to the fight against the consequences of climate change as a reliable.The head of the country called the territories freed from occupation a green zone, and serious steps were taken to realize the renewable energy potential of these territories. Azerbaijan's hosting of the COP 29 event in 2024 has been confirmed. The basis of the world community's once again supporting Azerbaijan in this prestigious event is the reputation gained by our country and its self-affirmation as a reliable partner.

   Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Mammad Mammadov, Chairman of the territorial party organization at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the New Azerbaijan Party, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Associate Professor Zaman Mammadov and Deputy Chairman of the territorial party organization of the Institute, Farid Mustafayev, spoke about the climate in Azerbaijan in recent years. They also noted that great work has been done in the fight against change. At the same time, the liberated territories and Nakhchivan Mukhtar Republic zone "Green energy" zone  was declared.Zaman Mammadov said that, the event held within the framework of "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" coincided with April 22 "Earth Day".
