The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev. The head of the "Microelements and microfertilizers" laboratory of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Agrarian Sciences, Amina Akhundova, presented her final report for 2024 at the meeting. He gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and he noted that, "Research of microelements in the components of different landscape types of the republic and efficiency of application of microfertilizers" 3 works were included in the topic.

   Then, the "Mineral Fertilizers" laboratory presented its final report for 2024. The director of the laboratory, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Mammad Mammadov, gave brief information about the scientific research works carried out in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and ANAS Geology and Geophysics Institute, M.N. Nagiyev Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, complex work on the topic "Effect of combined application of organic-mineral complexes prepared on the basis of local raw materials with mineral fertilizers on agrocenosis based on balance calculations", "Nutrient elements in different soil climate conditions" "Efficient application of mineral fertilizers based on balance and circulation" also included 3 works. In the report, other employees of the laboratory also answered questions about their work.

   The presented final reports were widely discussed by the council members and questions were answered. In the end, the annual report of both laboratories for 2024 was voted and accepted.
