The Department of Education of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was founded and formed in 2017.
- Ensures coordination of doctoral students, PhD's and their activities with the Department of Science and Education of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organizes the Institute's connection with other higher education institutions;
- Establishment of relevant commissions for the attestation of doctoral students and doctoral candidates for the preparation of a doctor of sciences and a doctor of philosophy, and the conduct of doctoral entrance examinations and doctoral examinations;
- Receiving the documents of doctoral students on the portal, organizing entrance exams and doctoral exams by specialty subject;
- Prepares highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel through doctoral studies analyzes the results of their scientific activity;
- ensures organization of exam sessions, preparation of exam questions and exam tickets, creation of test bank, organization of software, prepares exam protocols and certificates of doctoral  students taking exams in exam sessions;
- Supervises the preparation and acceptance of "Individual work" plans and annual "Reports" of doctoral students and dissertation students;
- Conducts monitoring and prepares reports, supports the publication of the results of doctoral students' scientific research in authoritative scientific journals and collections and makes recommendations.
