Leading researcher of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Agrarian Sciences Elton Mammadov's article with scientists from Germany and Poland was published in the international scientific journal "Geoderma Regional".
The applied hybrid models can be used effectively in high-precision digital land mapping in mountainous areas. Despite the complex relief conditions of mountainous areas, the proposed models allow to detect local spatial relationships and model uncertainties. The research is one of the first experiments in the field of high-precision digital land mapping in mountainous regions on an international scale.

The results of the research can also contribute to the development of agriculture.
