An event was held on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.The General Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev, who opened the event with his opening speech, congratulated the female employees of the Institute and, on their behalf, all Azerbaijani ladies on the occasion of International Women's Day and conveyed his best wishes to them. He noted that, the Azerbaijani woman occupies a high place among the women of the world due to her intelligence, knowledge and talent. Today, there is no area of society that, imagined without women.

   Chairman of the Trade Union of the Institute -doctor of agricultural sciences - Mammad Mammadov noted in his speech that, he is proud of the activity of women in the Azerbaijani society and at the end he said that, "women are a temple of greatness". Then, the Chairwoman of the Women's Council - Amina Akhundova, Member of the Women's Council, Associate Professor - Shalala Salimova, Member of the Women's Council, Chairwoman of the Council of Young Scientists and Experts - Tarlan Yelmarli and director of the Organic Fertilizers Laboratory- Sevda Talibova congratulated the women on the occasion of International Women's Day and wished them good health and happiness.At the end of the meeting, gifts were presented to the ladies of the Institute under the organization of the Trade Union Organization.
