The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS. The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Council, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev. Then, Executive Director of the Institute, Ph.D. Yasin Rustamov, presented the final report for 2021 the Laboratory of Genesis, Geography and Cartography of Soils of the Institute  at the meeting. The head of the laboratory, academician Maharram Babayev informed about  genetic diagnostics and mapping of taxonomic units of Azerbaijani lands by innovative methods. Employees of the laboratory are Ph.D Sultan Huseynova, Ph.D  Firoza Ramazanova, Ph.D Ayten Mammadova, Ph.D Naila Orujova, Ph.D Rena Mirzazadeh made a final scientific and organizational report and reported on their work. Also, the head of the laboratory "Soil Geographic Information Systems", corresponding member of ANAS Amin Ismayilov presented a report on the complex research work. The final report was widely discussed by the council members.
Laboratory employee Ph.D Taking into account the active scientific activity of Turkan Hasanova, it was decided to increase her degree. In the end, the annual report of the Laboratory of Genesis, Geography and Cartography of Soils for 2021 was voted and adopted unanimously.
