The genesis, geography and cartography of soils, Soil physics and Organic fertilizers laboratories have presented their final reports for 2022.

    The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev. At the meeting, the Institute's "Soil Genesis, Geography and Cartography" laboratory presented its final report for 2022. The head of the laboratory, Academician Maharram Babayev, gave brief information about the scientific research works carried out in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and "Genetic diagnosis and mapping of taxonomic units of Azerbaijani soils using innovative methods (Soil geographic information systems and structure of soil cover, a complex subject with soil physics laboratories)" he noted, included 7 works. Employees of the laboratory  PhD in Geographical science - Farrukh Khalilov, PhD in Agricultural Sciences -Turkan Hasanova, PhD in Agricultural Sciences- Aytan Mammadova, doctor of agrarian sciences - Naila Orujova, PhD in Agricultural Sciences -Rena Mirzazade gave a final scientific and organizational report and reported on the work they did. Doctor of agrarian sciences - Vilayat Hasanov, head of the "Soil Cover Structure" laboratory, gave a speech and presented his report on the complex research work done. The final report presented was widely discussed by the council members.

   Then , the head of the Institute's "Soil Physics" laboratory , PhD in Agricultural Sciences -Ali Jafarov, presented the final report for 2022. He gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and he noted that, the topic "Study and comparative analysis of agrophysical properties of Salyan plain soils under different agricultural crops" includes 4 works. Laboratory employees PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Samander Kocharli and PhD in Agricultural Sciences- Elvira Mammadova gave detailed information about the work done and answered the questions.

   Later, the head of the Institute's "Organic Fertilizers" laboratory - Doctor of agrarian sciences - Sevda Talibova, presented the final report for 2022. He gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and he noted that 9 works were included in the topic "Characteristics and agro-ecological importance of the transformation of organic fertilizers in the soil in different agrocenoses". In the report, the employees of the laboratory, PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Safaleddin Ismayilov, PhD in Agricultural Sciences-Kamala Demirova, PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Elmira Vakilova, PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Elba Rustamova, informed about the work done and answered the questions. The presented final reports were widely discussed by the council members and questions were answered. In the end, the annual report of all three laboratories for 2022 was voted and accepted.
