   The report-election meeting of the Trade Union Committee was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The general director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev, opened the meeting with an introductory speech.

   The event continued with the speech of the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute, Doctor of Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor Mammad Mammadov. He presented the report covering the years 2018-2023 to the meeting participants.He noted that, under the organization of the Trade Union Committee, funds were transferred to the Armed Forces Relief Fund during the Second Patriotic War, financial assistance was provided to the employees who applied, vacations were organized, and the committee's duties were fulfilled.

   Then a member of the Control Inspection Commission, Doctor of Philosophy in Agrarian Sciences Amina Akhundova's speech was heard.

  Then the chairman of the meeting and the United Trade Union of Scientific Organizations professor Habil Gurbanov made a speech. Habil Gurbanov highly appreciated the activities of the Trade Union Committee at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, and the report was accepted by open vote.

  Then deputy chairman of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers - Mirza Jafarzadeh spoke and gave extensive information about their activities.

   At the end, a secret vote was held to determine the chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute and members of the Committee, and an open vote was held to determine the members of the Supervisory Inspection Commission. According to the results of the secret voting, Doctor of Agrarian Sciences, associate professor Mammad Mammadov was elected as the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute.
