The international forum "Solidarity for a Green World: From Waste to value for a Sustainable Future" was held in Baku on June 27-28. The international forum was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and "Tamiz Sheher" OJSC. General director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev participated in the event.
The main purpose of the forum is to spread the best practices and innovative approaches in the field of waste management, circular economy and sustainable development, and to adopt environmentally responsible practices on a global scale.
Officials of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, authorized representatives of the UN, representatives of various international organizations, including a number of foreign countries, took part in the forum."Zero Waste" Baku Initiative was accepted by the organizations and companies participating in the event within the framework of the International Forum.
