The general director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan made a speech at the ethnotourism congress within the framework of the III National "Yaylag" Festival.

   On July 7, 2024, an ethnotourism conference called "Ganjabasar migration route and elat culture: in the footsteps of our ancestors" was held in the Khan Plateau of Goygol district, within the framework of the III National "Yaylag" Festival. The first ethnotourism congress held in the country was jointly organized by the Ganja Regional Tourism Department of the State Tourism Agency and the "Javadkhan Culture Fund".

   General director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev participated in the congress and delivered a report on "The Great Silk Road and Azerbaijan". In his report, the scientist talked about the use of kahriz and water sources in Gazakh, Agstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Gadabey, Dashkasan, Samukh, Kalbajar, Jabrayil, Agdam, Fuzuli regions of Azerbaijan. Then, the scientist specifically mentioned the direct connection of this event with COP-29.

   At the end of the event, a general public address was read, and honorary degrees were presented to the participants.
