An online meeting was held to discuss the organization of the "Sapropel" project in Azerbaijan on the production of innovative products for agriculture.

   Director General of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor - Alovsat Guliyev, Director General of the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor - Panah Muradov, Director of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Deputy director of plant health and biological safety department - Javidan Guliyev participated at the meeting.

   Dozens of scientists from the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences participated in the preparation of the "Sapropel" project.

   It was noted at the meeting that, the development of agricultural production, the effective use of organic and mineral fertilizers, as well as increasing the productivity of plants and meeting the population's demand for high-quality products are among the most important issues of the day. Professor Alovsat Guliyev noted that, the role of organic fertilizers in supplying plants with nutrients is great. From this point of view, organizing the Sapropel project in Azerbaijan is a very good initiative. The composition of “Sapropel” fertilizer is rich in 17 types of amino acids, macroelements, microelements, vitamins, etc and the fertilizer is ecologically effective and profitable.
