The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then the head of the Institute's "Soil Physics" laboratory, Doctor of Philosophy in Agrarian Sciences, - Ali Jafarov, presented the final report for 2024.

   He gave a brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year, and he noted that the topic "Study and comparative analysis of agrophysical properties of Salyan plain soils under different agricultural crops" includes 4 works. The head of the laboratory and his employees gave detailed information about the work they did and answered the questions.

   Later, the "Biology of Soils" laboratory presented its final report for 2024. The director of the laboratory, Ph.D. in agricultural sciences - Pirverdi Samadov, gave brief information about the scientific research works carried out in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year. He noted that, the topic "Comparative study of biological properties in natural and cultivated senoses of humid and semi-humid subtropical soils of Lankaran province" included 7 works.

   The presented final reports were widely discussed by the council members and questions were answered.
