A team of international experts of the UN Economic Commission for Europe visited the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS. UN expert Elisabeth Clement met with the Director General of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev and heads of relevant laboratories of the institute within the framework of the "Summary Report on Environmental Activities". During the meeting, the issues of agriculture and the environment, environmental safety and erosion were widely discussed. Elisabeth Clement noted the importance of the Institute's participation in projects in solving existing problems. At the same time, the expert noted that the existing problems will be included in the reports of the UN FAO.
