The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Council, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Alovsat Guliyev.
Then, under the chairmanship of Executive director of the Institute Yasin Rustamov, the Laboratory of Land Reclamation presented the final report for 2021. The head of the laboratory is PhD  Farhad Sadigov briefed on the research work carried out in the laboratory in the reporting year. He noted that, the complex work with the Laboratory of Soil Biology includes 7 works on "Comprehensive study of man-made disturbed soils, bio-reclamation and agrochemical rehabilitation." Other employees of the laboratory, PhD Chimnaz Bakhshiyeva, PhD Tamilla Gahramanova, PhD Nargiz Hakimova reported  about the work done. Then the head of the laboratory of the Institute "Modern problems of irrigation" PhD Nadir Nadirov presented the final report for 2021.
He briefed on, the research work carried out in the laboratory in the reporting year on the topic plan. In the report, the employee of the laboratory PhD Azad Karimov informed about the work done and answered questions. The final reports were widely discussed by the council members, and questions were answered. In the end, the annual report of both laboratories for 2021 was voted and adopted unanimously.
