    The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS on January 12.
   Opening the meeting, General Director of the Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev congratulated academician Maharram Babayev on the 85th anniversary and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Institute Mammad Mammadov on the occasion of the 70th anniversary.
    Senior researcher at the Mineral Fertilizers Laboratory Vugar Jafarov's  monograph  "The effect of food regime on the development and productivity of cabbage" was discussed and approved in the meeting.
   Extensive discussions were held on January 11 on the information portal "XeberFakt.az" about the identities of the anonymous authors of the defamatory article about the management of the Institute and some of its employees. The Scientific Council decided to find the authors of the fake article and bring them to justice in accordance with the law.
