Laboratory "Soil-agrochemical research and mass analysis" was created on the basis of the laboratory of mineral fertilizers in December 2012 by the decision of the Presidium of NANA.

Following the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the merger of the Institute of Irrigation and Erosion with the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry in 2016 laboratory analysis of soil, plants and water at the Institute of Irrigation and Erosion was combined. with the laboratory of agrochemical researches and mass analysis of soil.

At the present time the head of the laboratory is a doctor of philosophical sciences, associate professor Mamedova Mirvari Nureddin.

The main areas of activity of the laboratory:

-Study of agrochemical and physicochemical properties of natural and cultural cenoses by modern methods;

- Selection and development of rehabilitation methods for the return of eroded and infertile soils in the production of various causes. Conducting research on the effective use of fertilizers.

In the laboratory of 16 employees. It includes 5 leading researchers, 6 scientific staff, 2 junior researchers, 1 senior laboratory assistant and 2 laboratory assistants.
