The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev. Later, the "Soil Mineralogy and Chemistry" laboratory presented final report for 2022. The director of the laboratory - Huseyn Mehdiyev gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and "Proportion of minerals in Azerbaijani soils, diagnosis of soil condition and the effect of non-traditional minerals". In the report, other employees of the laboratory PhD in Agricultural Sciences -Shohrat Shirinova, PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Maleyka Ahmadova, PhD in Agricultural Sciences -Bulgeys Mammadova informed about the work and answered the questions.

   Later, the "Biology of Soils" laboratory presented its final report for 2022. The head of the laboratory Pirverdi Samadov gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and he noted that,  the topic "Comparative study of biological properties in natural and cultivated senoses of humid and semi-humid subtropical soils of Lankaran province" included 7 works. In the report, other employees of the laboratory, PhD in Biological Sciences- Afag Rzayeva, PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Beyli Aliyeva, PhD in Agricultural Sciences -Mehpara Sadikhova, PhD in Biological Sciences - Matanat Aliyeva, gave information about their work and answered questions.

   Then Doctor of Philosophy in Agrarian Sciences - Nadir Nadirov, head of the Institute's "Modern Problems of Irrigation" laboratory, presented the final report for 2022. He gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year and "Efficient use of existing water resources in different regions of Azerbaijan" and "Research of irrigation technologies that ensure soil protection" includes 2 works. In the report, PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Azad Karimov, an employee of the laboratory, informed about the work done and answered the questions.

   The presented final reports were widely discussed by the council members and questions were answered. In the end, the annual report of all three laboratories for 2022 was voted and accepted.
