     On March 7, the event was held on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The General  Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev, who opened the event with an opening speech, congratulated the female employees of the Institute and, on their behalf, all Azerbaijani ladies on the occasion of International Women's Day. He noted the importance of active participation of women in the public life of the country, as well as in social, economic, political, scientific and cultural processes. Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the Institute - Doctor of agricultural sciences-Mammad Mammadov noted in his speech that, as throughout history, today our women make valuable contributions to the development of Azerbaijan.

     The women's council chairman, doctor of agricultural sciences -  Amina Akhundova, doctor of agricultural sciences - Mustafa Mustafayev, PhD of agricultural sciences - Sevda Talibova, honored culture worker Sona Bakhshaliyeva joined the congratulations. Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists -Tarlan Yelmarli congratulated the women on the occasion of International Women's Day and wished them good health, happiness, and success in their honorable work.
