The Institute of Soil Science and AgroChemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan has started soil research in the territories freed from occupation.

    In order to ensure the "Great return" to our territories freed from occupation, along with the preparation of complex action plans by the state of Azerbaijan, very important practical activities in this direction have already been started. The issues of researching the liberated lands of Karabakh impose important tasks on scientists engaged in scientific activities related to the agricultural field.

   For this purpose, on July 11, director general of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, corresponding member of ANAS - Alovsat Guliyev met with Mustaqim Mammadov, the head of Tartar District Executive Power. Also, issues of establishing joint cooperation and organization of scientific research between the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and scientific research institutions of Tartar region were discussed.

   Later, soil samples were taken for analysis in the arable lands in the area from the garden and grain fields for the purpose of soil evaluation. For the purpose of monitoring, soil samples were taken from the liberated "Chayli" village of Tartar region and other areas were visually studied.
