"Dynamics of soil processes", "Soil reclamation" and "Soil physics" laboratories presented their final report for 2023.

   The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Alovsat Guliyev. Then, head of the laboratory "Dynamics of Soil Processes" - Niyazi Suleymanov, head of the laboratory, presented his final report for 2023. He noted that, the topic "Determination of the hydrothermal potential (HTP) of elementary soil areas of the natural and agrolandscape of the North-East slope of the Greater Caucasus in a microchain format based on microrelief plastic" included 2 works.

   Then, the "Land Reclamation" laboratory presented its final report for 2023. The director of the laboratory - Mustafa Mustafayev, gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year.

   He noted that, 4 works were included in the topic "Development of new technologies in the melioration of lands that are salinized and salinized to varying degrees in the republic". The head of the laboratory gave detailed information about the work done and answered the questions. 1 case of the laboratory was kept for the next scientific council, but the other 3 cases were accepted. Then, head of the Institute's "Soil Physics" laboratory - Ali Jafarov presented the final report for 2023.

   He gave brief information about the scientific research works performed in the laboratory according to the subject plan in the reporting year. He noted that, the topic "Study and comparative analysis of agro-physical properties of Salyan plain soils under different agricultural crops" includes 4 works.
