I was sad because every person who gave their life for their homeland was a martyr. It was our strong army and brave soldiers who made this historic victory possible for us.Today, we must work with all our might to revitalize our liberated lands and ensure the proper management of land and water resources.

Then, the Chairman of the Institute's Trade Union Committee, Doctor of Agrarian Sciences Mammad Mammadov, made a speech and emphasized how important Memorial Day is for our people. Zaman Mammadov said, "We scientists have a great responsibility to revitalize the land, restore agriculture, and regulate the ecosystem in the territories liberated at the cost of the lives of our heroic sons."
